**The Role**

**Specific Requirements**
- Must have completed a Spring making Apprenticeship or have CNC / Mechanical Spring Coiling machine Setter / Operator experience.
- Able to independently Set
- Up / operate CNC Spring coiling Machines to manufacture components to drawing and product specification.
- Follow Quality Procedures and work with Quality / Technical colleagues to improve standards.
- Adheres to Production, Health and Safety regulations.
- Able to carry out Machinery Lubrication Procedures/ Daily maintenance activities.
- Able to manage own workload, work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

**General Requirements**
- Good Timekeeping, attendance, and working to achieve production targets.
- Appreciates and strives to achieve Set-up times, Run Speeds and limit scrap levels.
- Maintain housekeeping and ensure machines are kept clean.
- A keen eye for quality control and continual improvement
- Spoken English to a good standard.
- Previous experience of using an array of spring measuring equipment such as Digital Callipers, Micrometres, Load testers.
- Flexible with working hours, shifts and willingness to work overtime.

**Desirable Requirements**

Previous experience of using computers to record production and signoff jobs electronically on production reporting systems. Knowledge of ISO 9001, IATF 16949 and ISO 14001 is an advantage. Experience with Wafios and Bobbio machines.
- Up to £20 per hour
