Seamstress

We are looking for an experienced clothing alterations seamstress to come and wotk part time in our busy Clothing alterations shop.

We are looking for a seamstress that has experience altering dresses and suits. Experience with wedding dress alterations would be a particular advantage.

The ZipYard is a busy clothing alterations shop in South Liverpool with a team of 6 seamstresses. We are looking for a part time seamstress to come and work for us over the next 5 months.

Salary during the probation period will be £11 per hour rising to £11.60.

We are a friendly team and the ability to smile, work hard and get on well with people is very important.

Job duties will be to carry out alterations on clothes brought in by customers. You will also be required to do pinning in the fitting rooms.

Hours will be 5 hours per day between 10am - 3:30pm which will include a 30 minute unpaid break.

The ZipYard is Liverpool's No 1 clothing alterations service and so experience of clothing alterations IS REQUIRED.
