**Key Responsibilities**:

- Preoperative Assessment:

- Conduct comprehensive preoperative assessments, including reviewing patient medical histories, physical examinations, and evaluating the risks associated with anaesthesia.
- Develop individualized anaesthetic plans tailored to the specific needs and conditions of each patient.
- Administration of Anaesthesia:

- Administer various types of anaesthesia, including general, regional, and local, to patients undergoing surgical, diagnostic, and therapeutic procedures.
- Monitor and manage patients’ vital signs, depth of anaesthesia, and physiological responses during procedures.
- Perioperative Care:

- Ensure optimal patient care and safety throughout the perioperative period, including preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative phases.
- Manage postoperative pain and provide appropriate pain relief strategies, including the use of patient-controlled analgesia, epidurals, and nerve blocks.
- Emergency and Critical Care:

- Provide anaesthetic care in emergency situations, including trauma, resuscitation, and critical care interventions.
- Participate in the management of critically ill patients in the intensive care unit (ICU) as required.
- Multidisciplinary Collaboration:

- Collaborate with surgeons, physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and comprehensive patient care.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and case discussions to optimize patient outcomes.
- Leadership and Supervision:

- Provide clinical leadership, mentorship, and supervision to junior anaesthetists, specialty trainees, and other healthcare professionals.

Support the professional development of the anaesthetic team through teaching, training, and continuous education initiatives.

Must have
- Valid degree from recognised university

Valid GMC registration

Completion of speciality training in anaesthetic and CCT desirable

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: £90.00-£115.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 48 per week
