The PMO team is a high performing and highly valued team, within Aviva’s Group Transformation function, which plays a key role in supporting our change community delivery our Change Portfolio to deliver Aviva’s strategy. The team work alongside other Business & IT professionals, in cross-functional teams, providing dedicated front-line PMO services to deliver industry changing solutions which have our customers’ interest at the heart.

A bit about the job:
The key responsibilities of this position will be providing day to day support of the Programme Director/Manager for complex and large-scale projects across the key PMO pillars (Governance / Planning / Risk / Financials). This will enable the team to proactively highlight deviations, trends and issues ahead of time (Governance), call out issues/trends/impacts, identifying themes and areas for investigation to support delivery (Planning) and provide confidence that change is managed to clear risk tolerances within an effective system for predictable, no surprises delivery (Risk).

Skills and experience we’re looking for:

- Significant PMO experience with a solid record of delivering Change.
- A self-starter, able to operate with mínimal line intervention and accountable for managing their own workload to successful conclusions.
- Collaborative in nature with an inquisitive mind; passionate about removing waste and killing complexity, with strong relationship management skills with senior stakeholders.
- An understanding of key change management tools e.g. Planview, PPM, JIRA
- Understand data, can analyse and turn it into insight to support decision making

What you’ll get for this role:
