**Job description**:
**Responsibilities**:
- Provide 1 to 1 support to a student with special educational needs in Year 3
- Assist the class teacher in planning and delivering differentiated lessons
- Work with the SENCO and other professionals to develop and implement individual education plans (IEPs)
- Monitor and record the student's progress, providing regular feedback to the class teacher and SENCO
- Assist with classroom management and behaviour management strategies
**Requirements**:
- Experience working with students with special educational needs is essential
- Knowledge of different types of SEN and strategies for supporting them
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with the class teacher and other professionals
- A positive and proactive attitude towards learning and development
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
Qualifications:
- A Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification
- Experience of 3 months working in a school minimum
- GCSE Maths and English (or equivalent)
