**About the Role**

**Base Location**: Cardiff, Reading or Perth

**Salary**: £33,945 - £39,463 + a range of other benefits to support your family, finances and wellbeing.

**Working Pattern**: 12-month Fixed Term Contract or Secondment | Full Time | Flexible First options available

**What is the Role?**

Working cross functionally with Marketing and Smart Meter Demand Teams, this role is pivotal in driving demand for Smart Meters, supporting our customers to become more sustainable and cut their carbon footprint. Writing, clear, concise copy for ads and marketing materials, the post holder will be accountable for delivering clear and engaging messaging to sell the benefits of Smart Meters.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Writing clear, compelling copy for various mediums, generating Smart Meter appointment bookings from SSE Energy Solutions GB business customer base
- Interpret copywriting briefs to understand requirements
- Using data and insight to create impactful communications, landing relevant messages to segmented customer audiences
- Proof reading content
- Developing content optimised for SEO best practice, to maximize the online visibility of SSE Energy Solutions website

**What do I need?**

To be considered for this role, we would love you to have:

- Copywriting experience across a multimedia marketing channel mix, preferably within a regulated industry
- Strong time management and the ability to work calmly under pressure
- Creativity to deliver smart messages to a range of audiences, with varying degree of knowledge and engagement on Smart Meters
- B2B and digital copywriting experience, with demonstrable knowledge of SEO
- Good communication skills and the ability to manage stakeholders
