Working for a global manufacturing employer, you will work as part of an experienced press shop team, ensuring the efficient running and setting of varied press equipment, working with production and wider engineering teams to deliver a constant flow ofproducts to the assembly operation. As a Press Shop Setter, you will be able to demonstrate a varied work history of manufacturing, pressing and machining, able to rotate your skills and work as part of a highly productive team.

Ideally you will have plenty of experience gained operating punch press, turret press and brake press, combined with other general tooling experience, to include the use of measuring equipment such as gauges, micrometres, and calipers. The ability to managethe recycling of scrap metal and products, ensuring correct disposal of waste and therefore placed in the correct areas is an important element. Reporting both manually and electronically on all information required for the tooling maintenance and repairsprocess is key to this role, therefore excellent levels of verbal and written communication skills are essential.

Your knowledge of Lean manufacturing, working to standard operating procedures and able to read engineering drawings is required, with a sound understanding of the engineering and manufacturing sectors is of great benefit to this employer as future careerdevelopment can be offered due to the growth and success of the business. You may have an NVQ Level 2/3 Mechanical Engineering or similar or simply demonstrate previous, relevant employment experience.
