As **Performer** for The Crystal Maze Live Experience Manchester, you will deliver shows and performances across the attraction in line with the exceptionally high theatrical performance standards expected. The primary role of a **Performer** is to participate in, motivate and deliver impeccable performances, whilst ensuring they maintain the highest levels of health and safety. Reporting into the Company Manager, you will have the joint responsibilities of both performing and being ‘in-show’, going behind-the-scenes to re-set games.

You will be a brand champion, maintaining a high level of professionalism and showmanship to facilitate an excellent guest experience. You will need to be enthusiastic, approachable, and dependable, contributing to the overall atmosphere of the attraction, breeding a positive culture, and maintaining Little Lion’s values and business objectives at all times.

Operational Excellence
- Deliver excellent show performances each day, hosting the show and guiding the guests around the Maze.
- Maintain a high level of professionalism, showmanship, and enthusiasm during performances, contributing to the overall culture and energy of the attraction.
- Ensure the highest standards of health and safety are upheld, protecting our team and our guests, whilst helping to ensure all team members remain customer focused.
- Perform a short introductory briefing for the guests, which includes health and safety information as well as facilitating the first photo opportunity whilst ‘in character’.
- Facilitate all photo opportunities throughout the experience to ensure a seamless and bespoke customer ‘photograph journey’, as well as promoting photo packages to encourage sales.
- Encourage guests to participate in secondary spend opportunities, such as merchandise purchases, food and beverage offerings, and other experience-enhancing add-ons.
- Engage in training and show competence on all Front of House aspects, including merchandising, ticket sales, sign-in, and waiver assistance.
- Engage in training and show competence on all food and beverage aspects, including bar and restaurant support and service.
- Act as a judge while the guests play games in the experience.
- Responsible for re-setting the games during the experience, with roles rotating on any scheduled day.
- As a performer, facilitate the scoring and re-setting of the Dome (the final challenge of the experience) for the guests, before signalling their exit.
- Be a role model for best practice through instilling a positive culture in the Green Room as well as through your brilliant performances.
- Demonstrate a commitment to the attraction’s overall success.

Guest Excellence
- Treat all guests as individuals, thinking on your feet to ensure their experience exceeds their expectations.
- Live and breathe world-class service, with guests at the heart of everything we do not only within the Operations department but within the wider attraction.
- Act as an advocate for the guest, identifying and sharing ideas to management about how we can make the guest experience even better.
- Act as a representative of the experience and company, embodying its brand values and creating memorable experiences for guests.
- Monitor guest feedback and photo capture data, taking appropriate and swift action to ensure the guest experience is protected and always enhanced.
- Constantly evaluate guest feedback on individual shows to understand how your performances can evolve to improve the guest experience.
- Work closely with the operations team to maintain interdepartmental communications and efficiencies, willingly taking on ad hoc duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Operations management team to support the evolving needs and growth of the show.
- Assist in Marketing and PR initiatives at the direction of the Company Manager.

Health, Safety and Security
- Ensure you adhere and operate to the highest standards of health and safety, helping to foster a best-in-class positive, clear, and honest safety culture.
- Perform a short introductory briefing to the audience which includes health and safety information.
- Act as a fire safety marshal at all times, taking accountability for ensuring all aspects of the fire strategies are understood, managed and audited effectively.

- Experienced performer within the immersive theatre industry who showcases a wide-ranging and versatile skillset.
- Able to adapt quickly to changing situations and proactively contribute to new initiatives.
