**The Opportunity**

Kite Packaging have a brilliant opportunity for an Expeditor to join their National Distribution Centre in Coventry. Kite Packaging was founded in 2001 with a unique vision and a philosophy of employee-ownership. The role involves working within a busy purchasing team ensuring smooth delivery of orders within the guidelines of the Goods in Department in order to uphold industry leading stock availability at all times, ensuring that any supply chain issues are notified in good time by maintaining constant contact with suppliers and freight forwarders. Additional administrative support including answering telephones, supplier liaison, dealing with supplier queries and some commercial administration will be required.

We’re on the lookout for a bright individual who is highly organised and self-motivated but also capable of working well within a team.

**The role of Expeditor**:
The role will specifically cover the following areas:

- Ensuring orders are acknowledged, delivery dates are achieved, and any issues are reported in a timely manner to the Purchasing, Customer Service and Operations teams
- Expediting international and domestic purchase orders by maintaining regular supplier/forwarder contact
- Daily communication with freight forwarders
- Liaising with 3rd party customs agents to ensure goods are customs cleared promptly with all applicable duties and taxes paid correctly
- Book international loads in accordance with Goods In capabilities
- Book in non-EU exports including add-on costs
- Pass on any delivery issues to suppliers when raised by Goods In

**Key Skills and Essential Experience**:

- International import procedures and related paperwork
- Dealing with people or working in an office
