**The business**

Searles Leisure Resort is a part of the Searles Leisure Group. Searles is a family run company and has grown over the years into a highly successful business. The Resort consists of over 360 Owners, 150 hire fleet and over 200 tourer and tent pitches and is based south of Hunstanton. There are many facilities at Searles, including a large Clubhouse and Restaurants, indoor and outdoor swimming pools, and an 18- and 9-hole golf course. Searles is graded 5 stars by Visit England and is the Norfolk and Suffolk Camping/Glamping and Holiday Park winner for 2020.

Heacham Manor Hotel is also part of the Searles Leisure Group. Heacham Manor Hotel welcomes Golfers, Hotel Guests looking for a tranquil country getaway, weddings, events and much more making it one of the leading 3-star Hotels in the area.

**Rate of Pay**: £10.82 per hour

**Contract & Hours of Work**

Permanent contract, Full-time, 40 hrs per week (yearly average) over 5 days, including weekends and bank holiday working.

**Please note, we are a 7-day a week operation in the peak periods. Some shifts will include, split shifts, weekends, and some public / bank holidays on a rota basis.**

**Job responsibilities**
- Maintain the Searles and Heacham Manor Golf courses by means of:

- Cutting grass using pedestrian, ride on mowers and strimmer’s
- Managing tees
- Raking bunkers
- Repairing pitch marks
- Carrying out turf maintenance as directed
- Prepare the course for play including marking hazards, grounds for repair and ensuring tee markers, bunkers, golf furniture and general green maintenance is carried out.
- Ensure that the operating procedures are carried out as scheduled and records kept.
- Maintenance of the grounds and flower beds at Heacham Manor Hotel.
- Cleaning & maintaining the driving range.
- Cleaning machinery after use.
- Carry out essential maintenance work, equipment checks, including daily and routine maintenance and duties as trained to do so.
- Ensure the areas are attractive, welcoming, functional, and safe.
- Maintain a clean and tidy work area at all times.
- Ensure safe operation, maintenance and cleaning of equipment, machinery, and vehicles.
- Work with the Company’s Health and Safety guidelines to maintain and monitor a safe and secure environment for the welfare of our guests and staff.
- Be aware of the effects of your work on the customers around you (e.g., disruption, noise).

**Requirements**:

- Experience of working in a Greenkeeping environment (Desirable)
- Previous experience using garden machinery and equipment
- Mowing and grounds maintenance experience
- Ride on Mower Certificate (Desirable)
- Experience of Tractor driving & reversing trailers (Desirable)
- Manual Handling skills
- Full valid Driving Licence for UK due to use of company vehicles
- Flexible Schedule, for Working hours
