**Shift Leader - Customs**

**Hours: 40 hours per week
- Working 5 days out of 7, weekends included**

**Salary: £26,000 per annum**

**Location: Worksop - Office based**

**Contract Type: Permanent**

Due to continued growth and expansion we are currently looking to recruit an Shift Leader to join our client based in Worksop on a permanent basis.

***

**Essential Duties and Responsibilities**:

- The ability to communicate effectively with external customers, key stakeholders and colleagues
- Ability to make decisions quickly and confidently based on company policies and practices
- Strong attention to detail
- Adhere to company policy and procedures and ensure compliance from your shift team.
- Accurate data entry
- Ensure the shift is adequately staffed
- Maintain compliance with current and evolving legislation and customs procedures
- Ensure compliance at all times
- The ability to work in a multi-software work environment
- Create development opportunities for experienced staff members
- Monitor team and capture performance data to develop staff members

**Experience and Skills**:

- Experience in an office environment.
- Experience managing/ supervising teams.
- Knowledge of Microsoft packages
- Customs/logistics experience is preferred but not mandatory.
- You must be confident to speak on the telephone.
