**Role: Payroll Supervisor**

**Location: Oldbury**

**ABOUT THE ROLE -**

This is an exciting role which offers the opportunity of a fresh perspective to shape and evolve a function. The role be managing a payroll department of 2 who process payroll for approximately 1500 employees (UK & Ireland).**You will be required to**:

- Develop and maintain the relationship with internal/external Stakeholders including governmental bodies.
- Help assist with implementation, communication, and administration of competitive compensation & benefit programs and policies that ensure the business can attract and retain the best talent.
- Provide support and guidance for Payroll Administration team to continue to build competencies.
- Provide some analysis on data pertaining to Payroll, like finance items, costings, control accounts etc.
- Ensure Payroll Compliance.
- Maintaining accurate Payroll Records including P11d’s and PSA submissions.
- Make recommendations to improve efficiency, accuracy and help automate procedures to increase the departments effectiveness.
- Keep abreast of HMRC changes by developing strong external networks.
- Advanced excel expertise with a willingness to work hands on in the detail as well as in the analysis.
- UK & Ireland Payroll Knowledge.
- Attention to detail.
- Some knowledge on inpats/expats, liaising with Parent Company in Netherlands.
- Previous experience working with Resourcelink would be advantageous but not essential.
- Rectifying payroll and employee issues.
- Proven analytical and problem-solving skills as well as an ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality with sensitive employee and company information.

**Working hours**:
Mon - Fri: 8.30am - 5.30pm

Weekly hours: 40

Breaks: 1 hour

**ABOUT YOU -**
- Managing a small team, including 1-2-1’s, goal setting etc.
- Have a track record in Payroll.
- Planning annual cyclical events.
- Managing small projects to allow future change.
- Confidence in dealing with challenging employees.
- CIPP qualification.
