But we are just getting started With more London locations planned alongside further international expansion, we’re at an exciting point in the development of our team and we’re looking for like-minded people who are as passionate about food and hospitality as we are.

**About the role**

Due to an increase in demand for our fantastic products and expansion of our presence throughout London, we are recruiting for a kitchen porter to join our Bakery team.

Based at our original location, Borough Market, you will be responsible for the cleaning of all materials, equipment and utensils used with the bakery to ensure that the bakery is clean inside and out, offering assistance to the wider team where needed.

Your duties will include cleaning and maintaining work areas to perfect standards and reporting maintenance issues as they happen to ensure the bakery continues to run smoothly. You will work to high standards of hygiene, health and safety, developing knowledge of proper chemical handling regulations. Additionally, you will be required to assist with the packing of products for deliveries, helping to keep the preparation areas as tidy as possible while orders are prepared for customers, communicating with the bakery team continuously during production.

Your working week will be a 42.5 hours comprised of five 8-hour shifts (either 7am-4pm or 12pm-9pm including a 30 minute unpaid meal break).

**About you**

We are looking for diligent and self-motivated individuals who relish working in a busy, fast paced environment having had similar experience in a similar role or organisation.

You must be suited to working in a physical environment; you will be on the go for the duration of your shift, and you must be comfortable lifting and moving products and tools through the bakery with ease.
