Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic to join our team. As a Diesel Mechanic, you will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and servicing diesel-powered vehicles and equipment. This is a hands-on position that requires strong technical skills and attention to detail.

**Duties**:

- Perform routine maintenance tasks, including oil changes, filter replacements, and fluid checks
- Diagnose and repair mechanical issues with diesel engines, transmissions, brakes, and other systems
- Inspect vehicles and equipment to identify any potential problems or safety concerns
- Use diagnostic tools and equipment to troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues
- Fabricate, solder, and assemble parts as needed for repairs or modifications
- Follow schematics and technical manuals to ensure accurate repairs
- Conduct inspections and perform preventative maintenance to ensure optimal performance
- Maintain accurate records of all repairs, services, and inspections
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client concerns and answering questions

**Skills**:

- Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to diagnose and repair diesel engines and related systems
- Proficient in using diagnostic tools and equipment to identify issues
- Knowledge of electrical systems in diesel-powered vehicles
- Ability to fabricate, solder, and assemble parts as needed
- Experience with forklift operation is a plus
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Strong communication skills to interact with clients and provide exceptional customer service
- Physical stamina to handle heavy lifting and perform tasks in various weather conditions
