Barista

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Barista to join our team. As a Barista, you will be responsible for preparing and serving a variety of hot and cold beverages to our customers. Your friendly demeanor and excellent customer service skills will ensure a positive experience for all patrons.

**Responsibilities**:

- Prepare and serve a wide range of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks
- Take customer orders accurately and efficiently
- Operate espresso machines, grinders, and other coffee equipment
- Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the coffee bar area
- Stock and replenish coffee beans, syrups, milk, and other supplies as needed
- Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Handle cash transactions and maintain accurate cash register records
- Follow all food safety guidelines to ensure the quality and freshness of products
- Assist with food preparation as needed

**Skills**:

- Basic math skills for cash handling and order processing
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques
- Strong time management skills to efficiently handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work well in a team-oriented setting
- Excellent communication skills to interact with customers and colleagues effectively
- Knowledge of food safety regulations to maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent, Zero hours contract

Pay: £11.70-£12.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Overtime
- Weekend availability

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Uxbridge: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
