**Valeter Position Available**

Southern Self Drive is the largest independent vehicle rental company in the South of England. As a family-run company, we're looking to take on a new valeter to join our close-knit team in the Portsmouth area.

**What does a Valeter do at SSD?**

**Responsibilities**:
As a valeter at SSD, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our fleet meets the highest standards.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Cleaning vehicles inside and out.
- Fuelling vehicles to the required level for customer satisfaction.
- Conducting inspections for new damage and identifying any faults.
- Delivering and collecting vehicles to/from customers promptly.
- Completing pre-rental and post-rental check sheets accurately.
- Collaborating with reception staff and senior management as needed.
- Participating in weekend ‘pull-ins’ and providing support during staff holidays in busy periods.
- Willingness to work at our Fareham branch occasionally.

**Qualifications**:
You'll be surprised to hear you don't need any experience in valeting, but it would make you stand out.
- A full clean UK driving licence with a minimum of 3 years of accident-free driving (up

to 3 points and 1 accident may be considered acceptable).
- A strong work ethic, positive attitude, and good punctuality.
- Flexibility to assist other team members when required.

**Working Schedule**:

- An average of 40 hours per week, with opportunities of overtime.
- Every other weekend working with every Thursday off.

**Salary**: From £23,795.20 per year
