Head of Sales

Development and delivery of sales growth strategy
- Understanding current and potential customers needs through regular meetings and visits
- Reviewing new business potential, providing and presenting business cases for partnership with prospective new customers
- Analysis of current customer base and product offering, including margin analysis and order quantity to identify value and make decisions accordingly
- Creating and motivating a high performing team, cascading goals and targets down and working with the team to ensure constant results delivery
- Building and maintaining excellent relationships with current and future customers
- Networking and events attendance to generate leads and build relationships
- Definition and implementation of a CRM system/policy

**Education / Skills / Qualification / Experience requirements**
- Proven sales experience at Senior level with multi region responsibility
- Proven experience of successful sales strategy planning and business growth
- Experience of leading a high performing team and motivating them to success
- Experience of manufacturing B2B sales (preferably within the Construction/Automotive industry)
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to see the bigger picture and contribute toward its success daily
- Management and leadership skills
- Knowledge of business software, such as CRM programs.
- Emotionally intelligent with demonstrable experience of influencing and challenging across levels with an organisation.

**Salary**: £50,000.00-£60,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Northampton: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Business development: 5 years (preferred)
- Sales: 5 years (preferred)
