Payroll & Accounts Administrator

This interesting and varied role will provide a wide range of financial, bookkeeping and payroll support. With the continued growth of the business, they require an experienced Payroller / Accounts Assistant with good bookkeeping, payroll and nominal ledger skills.
Payroll:
**Prepare and administrate multisite Weekly payrolls including RTI, auto enrolment, and year end submissions.**
Prepare and submit payment for all Payroll associated payments through the bank
**Post of monthly payroll journals into Sage**
Process expense claims in line with company policy, as well as HMRC and VAT rules
**Prepare payroll disclosure and segmental information for month end/ year end.**
Purchase Ledger/ Payments:
**Matching and posting of Purchase Invoices**
Preparation of Payment runs and payment through the bank
**Deal effectively with supplier queries.**
Monthly Supplier Statement and control account reconciliations
Sales Ledger / Credit Control:
**Daily Posting and credit control**
Customer liaison in relation to invoicing queries and payments reminders.
**Weekly bank posting and reconciliations.**
Raising monthly Billing invoices and Credit
**Banking Cash**
Other:
**Checking and validation of VAT treatment and monthly VAT reports pre-VAT Return.**
Nominal journal postings
**Ad-hoc tasks related to the above.**
Assist Management Accountants as and when required.
THE CANDIDATE:
Proven work experience in a finance department working in a high-pressured environment
The role will be based on-site full time.
