**Job Profile for QC Lab Technician - RE211449**

**QC Lab TechnicianPosition Overview**
- Ensure the timely completion of product testing in process and final analysis
- Prepare Pre-shipment samples and ensure accurate documentation
- Testing of incoming materials
- Carrying out project / development as required
- Issuing accurate process adjustment instructions
- Respond to non-confirmative corrective and preventative actions
- Liaising with Senior QC Chemist, QC Lab Manager and/or Managing Director for technical matters and concessions

**QC Lab TechnicianPosition Requirements**
- BTEC / HNC qualified in Chemistry
- Experience working in a busy industrial lab
- Ability to follow Chemistry testing techniques
- Experience working in a Chemical / Process industry desirable
- Any experience of working on COMAH sites is highly desirable
- Familiarity with Quality Management systems (ISO9001, 14001 & 45001) advantageous
- IOSH qualified would be advantageous
- Based within a commutable distance of Wigan

**QC Lab TechnicianPosition Remuneration**
- £11.00 - £11.83 per hour
- Monday - Friday, 6:00 - 18:00
- 25 days holiday, plus bank holidays
- BUPA cover after probation
- Pension
