Financial Promotions Officer

**The opportunity**:
We're looking for an experienced Financial Promotions Specialist to join the team, taking accountability for the financial promotions activity for our firms. This varied role covers all product lines such as Investments, Pensions, Protection, Mortgages and General Insurance. You'll be working directly with our Advisers, ensuring they are utilising the most up to date and market ready material through a variety of channels such as websites, social media and advertising. You'll need to be collaborative, proactive and have a keen eye for detail.
This is a hybrid role, with a minimum of one day per week in our Leeds office.
**The benefits**:
- Salary - £35,000 to £40,000
- Bonus scheme - on target bonus - 7.5%

**Key Accountabilities**:
- Managing and taking responsibility for Adviser financial promotions, approving all items of stationery and advertising material in line with FCA regulation.
- Review, design and approval of regulated documents for the 2plan network.
- Managing and developing promotional content for our Adviser websites
- Accountability for the approval and development of the our client newsletter on a quarterly basis
**What will you need to succeed?**:
- Some evidential experience within a financial services organisation, ideally a network.
- Either qualified or working towards industry qualifications such as level 4 diploma and level 3 mortgage qualification.
- Knowledge of the following areas is essential:
- COBS, ICOB and MCOB product and sales process
- Marketing rules
- Data Protection understanding
- FCA and regulatory requirements
- Anti Money Laundering
- Good financial planning and technical knowledge
- Strong organisation skills
- Good understanding of risk
Ability to work on multiple tasks and projects
