Guidant Global is currently seeking an Information Assurance Risk & Policy Specialist to work with our exceptional client in a secure environment, supporting challenging and highly rewarding projects at Information Assurance. This contract post will be locatedin Gloucestershire and offers a day rate of £800-900 per day.

This IA Risk & Policy Specialist role is conducted in an environment that is far from ordinary. Working with existing Information Risk and Governance Leads the IA Risk & Policy Specialist will deliver key Information Assurance Risk policies. The role willalso deliver risk ownership model to support digital transformation strategies, including delivering strategic risk assessments. Part of the work will be to review the current policies and roadmaps to identify gaps in existing and new requirements for newpolicy to support hybrid cloud.

The successful IA Risk & Policy Specialist will have Current recognised qualification(s) in Information Security Risk Management/Information Assurance e.g. (CRISC, CISSP, BCM) or Policy Development e.g., PCIRM (Practitioner Certificate in Information RiskManagement), Policy Writing Course. We are also looking for the following:

- Experience in one or more of the following: Producing, Delivering or Landing Policy within an organisation.
- Experience in conducting the Risk Assessment Process using recognised methodologies.
- Good knowledge of Risk and the associated methodologies involved in identifying & managing risk effectively.
- Ability to liaise with a diverse group of stakeholders with different interests and at various levels within the business.
- Ability to work autonomously with a high standard of delivery to a dedicated requirement.
- Knowledge and experience of IT specific security risks, threats, impacts, challenges, designs, solutions and tooling - particularly in a cloud environment is essential.
