Cattery Assistant

Part time Cattery Assistant working Friday -Sundays. Approximately 21 hours a week.

We are a small family run business, its important to find the right individual to join our team.

We are looking for a hard working individual who has a friendly and approachable personality a professional attitude towards our customers is important. You will be a good time keeper and reliable. Ideally have experience in working with animals, OFQUAL level 3 qualification is desirable or working towards a qualification in animal care. The successful applicant will be confident around cats, be passionate about animal welfare a good communciator and self motivated.

You will be expected to feed cats on varied diets, clean and disinfect chalets to a high standard and work with speed and effciency plus other duties around the cattery as directed by your manager.

You should be able to work as part of a team and be procactive in organising and planning a busy daily workloads and be able to work unsupervised. This is a physcial job and does involve being outside in all weathers as well as lifting heavy items such as sacks of cat litter, waste bags,sweeping and bending up and down

A full driving licence is desireable. Training will be provided.

**Salary**: £14,072.47-£23,544.48 per year
