**About the role**:
We are seeking two skilled Town planners to work on an active, telecommunications projects within the wireless and fibre spaces with major national clients.

Our Acquisition and Planning team is a diverse and vibrant group of professionals working from our Chester, Manchester and Glasgow offices in a hybrid working pattern. We have an inclusive culture, great work life balance and monthly ‘takeover’ days where the whole team comes together for training and collaboration.

Due to the specialist nature of the projects, we are looking for planners with a minimum of 6 months prior experience in telecoms, however, we don’t really mind if this is from a client, supplier or LPA background. We find that Telecoms is a mindset, if you have it we can’t wait to speak to you.

**Responsibilities**:

- Undertaking site searches to identify locations for telecommunications / fibre pole and cabinet structures
- Preparing on-site sketches and taking photos to be used for planning drawings
- Preparing and submitting full planning, GPDO and Reg 5/ Licence Notifications, justifying the proposal against the Local Plan and National Planning Policy
- Attendance and presenting to Planning Committees when required
- Preparing and submitting appeals to the Planning Inspectorate
- Reporting internally and externally (to our clients) with updates, decisions, and advice
- Helping and training our Graduates (with support from Management) as appropriate

**We would welcome applicants with the following skills & expertise**:

- Relevant Town Planning degree
- Chartered MRTPI or eligible to apply
- Knowledge of Telecommunications industry essential - public sector experience also welcomed
- Flexible home working offered with some expectation to travel on an occasional basis
