Parliamentary Constituency Caseworker

Conor Burns is the Member of Parliament for the Bournemouth West constituency. He employs a small team based in the House of Commons or in Bournemouth.

**Job description**

Skills required include:

- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills and a desire to provide a compassionate, high-quality service to constituents
- Sympathetic telephone manner and confidence to meet members of the public on a one to one basis
- Awareness of central and local government structures, and the ability to undertake research on casework issues
- Ability to use own initiative, prioritise workload and proactively work through complex issues with constituents
- Good IT skills, knowledge of MS Office package, an ability to work with social media platforms and the ability to adapt to new software programmes

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £24,000.00-£27,500.00 per year
