You have...
- Have experience in monitoring in the Cardiac Catheter Lab including PCI.
- Be proficient in ambulatory monitor fitting and analysis.
- Be motivated towards or already working towards competency in pacemaker implant/follow-up and/or echocardiograms.

This is an exciting opportunity to be a part of a dynamic and friendly team, that is actively developing both echo and device services including physiologist led clinics. We actively support IBHRE/BSE and other professional qualifications and are currently working towards departmental BSE accreditation.

To undertake the following duties independently and without supervision:

- To perform 12-Lead ECG recordings.
- To fit ambulatory ECG and blood pressure monitors.
- Once signed off as competent to interpret and report Holter tape analysis.
- Non-medically and medically supervised Exercise Tolerance Testing procedures.
- Once signed off as competent to act as the lead physiologist during Brady pacemaker

implant.
- To act as the assisting physiologist in the pacemaker follow-up clinic.

To develop skills and experience in the following areas under supervision:

- To perform haemodynamic monitoring in the Catheter Lab during angiography and PCI procedures including, but not limited to, left and right heart catheterisations, CTO,

primary PCI and pressure wire studies.
- Provide technical support during brady pacemaker implantation and develop skills

and experience in complex device implantation (e.g. CRT and ICD)
- To develop skills in complex device follow-up (e.g. CRT and ICD)
- Transthoracic 2D Echocardiography and assisting with Transoesophageal echoes.

To perform the above independently when deemed appropriately competent, with indirect supervision as required until full accreditation is achieved (e.g. review/authorisation of Echo reports by senior BSE accredited staff
