As a Support Worker with Brook Street Social Care, you will play a vital role in helping children and young people with learning disabilities to live fulfilling lives.
Every day will be different, but your duties might include assisting with personal care, helping with meal times, supporting with leisure activities as well as encouraging independence. You will also be an advocate for the young people in your care, ensuringtheir needs and wishes are met and their voices are heard.
By working with these children and young people, you'll not only be helping them to achieve their full potential but also making a difference in society. You'll help break down barriers, promote inclusion and raise awareness of the challenges faced by peoplewith learning disabilities.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

- 6 months of paid, hands-on experience in supporting children and young people with learning disabilities
- To be approachable, friendly, proactive, and able to engage with the service users in a positive and caring manner
- Great communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills, allowing you to build strong relationships with the young people in your care
- A desirable DBS on the update service
- Weekly pay, so you can enjoy a regular and stable income
- Paid PAYE (We do not use umbrella companies - meaning you accrue holiday pay and no hidden fees)
- 24/7 contact with BS Social Care, ensuring you have support whenever you need it
