**Rail Electrification Services Resources Coordinator / SSOW Planner**

SWGR are looking for a Resourcer/SSOW Planner to join our Scotland Electrification Services and Isolations division. This is an excellent opportunity to join an organisation with a 30+ year record of providing high quality project and frontline people services to clients throughout the globe The overhead line electrification and isolations resourcer will be an integral role within the department, supporting the delivery manager in preparing, resourcing, managing and appraising our OLE and isolations workbanks.

**Main areas of responsibility include**
- Assessing complexity of isolation and selecting the appropriate resource
- Preparing staff rosters, Safe Systems or work and isolation packs
- Managing the workforce and issuing shifts to staff in good time
- Recruiting, developing and mentoring staff in line with SWGR’s staff appraisal procedures
- Undertaking safety critical duties as required
- Driving continuous improvement within the department with innovative and fresh ideas to boost efficient delivery
- Undertaking both site and office based audit, monitoring and compliance checks on isolations

**Knowledge, Experience and Education Requirements**

**Essential **
- Proactive, organised and dynamic individual who has held similar role in resourcing previously
- People management skills
- Strong communicator with an ability to adapt style to different situations
- 5+ Years Railway experience in a safety critical role
- Authorised Person
- OLEC 2
- Full UK driving license

**Desirable **
- Nominated Person
- Overhead line construction experience
- On track plant competences
- Commercial awareness
- Isolation planner

**Hours of Work**

Monday to Thursday 9am until 5pm Friday 9am until 3:45pm With a 45 minute lunch break each day Please note due to the nature of the role hours of work will be dictated inline with business needs and may include nightshift/weekend working.
