First Steps Nursery are looking for two employees to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a passionate, dynamic and successful group of Childcare Practitioners.

**Essential Skills: Ability to engage and interact with children; ability to work professionally and co-operatively with parents/carers; understanding of and commitment to relevant curriculum's.**

**Essential Personal Attributes**:Compassion; maturity; team player; able to work on own initiative.**

Essential Qualifications: Childcare qualification or commitment to work towards a qualification & experience of working with children.

Desired Qualifications: HNC Childhood Practice or SVQ Level 3 - Social Services (Children & Young People) and experience of working with children.

Both qualified and unqualified applicants will be considered and post is full-time. (Monday-Friday between the hours of 8am-6pm)

The main responsibilities of the role are; ensuring that the children are supported in a safe and caring environment; contributing and implementing the relevant curriculum in line with national and local guidance; planning and recording activities and progression and promoting parental participation.

Licence/Certification:

- Driving Licence (preferred)
