House Warden

Cleaning Solutions Scotland are looking to recruit a House Warden based at a Retirement Housing Development in Largs. The apartments within the building are privately owned and the building prides itself on the high level of service offered to its residents.

Duties and Responsibilities:

- Resident Checks - ensure all residents where possible are aware of presence on site and individual welfare is confirmed
- Emergency Procedure - Summon assistance from appropriate services and act when required in emergency
- Systems Monitoring - monitor all fire appliances and fire systems. Carry out regular tests of the fire alarm and report any deficiencies to appropriate body, training will be provided
- Contractors - Record and supervise all contractor activity onsite
- Reporting - Carry out monthly reports of the building and grounds
- Communal Area - Mange use of communal areas to include laundry ensuring all areas are tidy, hazard free and fit for purpose, These areas have to be spot cleaned daily
- Security - Supervise security arrangements ensuring lighting standards are maintained
- Car Park - Regulate the use of the car park as set out with residents
- Resident Bin Service - prepare all bins for local authority uplift and transfer to collection point on allocated days

You will be working with the public so excellent customer service is required.
