Security Officer

We have a fantastic opportunity to work alongside a dedicated, professional team of experts in their field, working for one of our prestigious clients.

Securitas are looking to recruit a **Security Officer** who shares our company values, if this sounds like you, we would love to hear from you
- **Working 42 hours per week**:

- **4 on 4 off - days,nights and weekends**:

- **An SIA licence is essential**:

- **Full clean UK driving licence with access to a vehicle**

**Our Security Officers will have the duty of**:

- Friendly face, approachable and keeping people safe
- Provide support, guidance and information to all staff, visitors and contractors.
- Meet and greet staff, visitors and contractors.
- Prevent and deter unauthorised access to the site.
- Monitor fire alarms, intruder alarms, and CCTV.
- Conduct external and internal security patrols.
- Ensure health and safety procedures are always followed.
- Record and report all faults, health and safety hazards and unsafe working practices.
- Remain 100% alert and vigilant at all times to detect and deter any suspicious or threatening behaviour.
- Undertake any other duties as requested by Branch Management.

**Essential Skills**

**Requirements of Security Officer**:

- SIA Licence
- Full UK driving licence with access to a vehicle
- The right to work in the UK and a 5-year checkable history
- Excellent customer service, people skills, organisational skills and time management
- Smart and presentable in appearance. Polite and proactive in engaging customers
