The Neuroscience directorate is seeking to a point a Physician Associate to join the neurology team at the Regional Neuroscience Centre, James Cook University Hospital. You can find out more about the department here:

The Physician Associate post will be attached to the Neurology and Stroke Unit (NASU) and join the wider NASU team. This includes working with the following team members:
- Neurology and Stroke consultants
- Stroke nurse practitioners and Advanced Clinical Practitioners
- NASU Physician Associate
- Therapy teams
- NASU junior doctors and nursing staff
The post holder is expected to participate in all aspects of the patient pathway for inpatient Neurology and Stroke, as appropriate to their competencies, and will be expected to perform delegated duties with a high degree of clinical skill and knowledge. They are also expected to act under their own initiative based on their training and current national and local guidelines.
