**Salary: Trainee rate £13.07 £26,939.04 / Green book rate £16.18 £33,348.96** +

**Work Pattern**: 08:00 - 16:45 Monday to Thursday 8:00 to 16:15 Friday

Main Responsibilities

The purpose of the role is to be responsible for Mould gear inspection and repair.

**Health & Safety Responsibilities**
- Maintain health & safety in the work place and ensure work area is kept in accordance with housekeeping standards

**Production & Quality**
- To carry out mould inspection and repair work to acceptable quality standards
- To work to instruction and meet departmental discipline standards and procedures
- To ensure equipment is inspected, repaired and delivered to production within suitable time
- Use of air assisted power tools
- Welding using Acetylene and Oxygen
- Mould shop experience desirable but not essential
- CNC programming experience desirable but not essential
- Preferred some welding experience and an engineering background
- Ability to work on own initiative, be conscientious and have a strong attention to detail
