Ndt Operator

We are looking to recruit a Non-Destructive Testing Operative (NDT Operator) to work for an international manufacturing company supplying components to the Aerospace industry. Working at their Derby site on a 4 day week Monday to Thursday, you will carry out Non-Destructive Testing on fabricated, cast, welded and machined components. If you have FPI and X-Ray experience, then we will want to hear from you.

**Duties**:

- Working as part of a small team you will be responsible for carrying out Non-Destructive Testing of parts for the aerospace industry on fabricated, cast, welded and machined components.
- Work from technical drawings and verbal instructions
- Interpret customer procedures and specifications
- Check and measure components

**Skills & Experience**:

- Must be disciplined in Fluorescent Penetrant Inspection (FPI) to Level II Aerospace Qualifications.
- X-Ray level 2- NAS410/ EN4179 (essential)
- Experience in fine limit sheet metal work and welded assemblies
- Experience in cast and close tolerance machined components
- Must be able to stand/sit for long periods
- Must be physically fit and able to carry out repetitive work
