**Co-Ordinating Authorised Person**

**Location: Multi Site (Scotland)**

**Salary: £42,000 - £45,000**

We have an exciting opportunity to join a science and technology organisation that operate in the defence industry. The company work across multiple domains including defence (Land, Air, Maritime) Cyber and Intelligence on lots of exciting projects.

You will be responsible for driving improvement and standards to maintain Safe Systems of Work, including support to the Site Authorised Person's, Facility and Project teams with technical advice and guidance. You will take the lead on ensuring a varietyof improvement projects are completed on time to budget, managing contractors and external stakeholders to ensure timely completion.

You will be contracted from one main site in Scotland (West region) and travel between different sites across Scotland will be required, the sites are wide ranging with different specialisms, meaning each day/week you will face new and exciting opportunities.Travel is paid, either as a hire car or petrol costs will be reimbursed. Travel time will be within working hours or can be taken as TOIL. This role provides a high level of autonomy, and we provide extensive career development opportunities.

**Main Responsibilities**
- Electrical HV/LV AP duties across multiple site within and outside of the region covering an extensive range of HV switchgear
- Carrying out Technical Assurance duties for a number of projects
- Manage succession training of prospective AP's, including; creating training and development plans, and continuous mentoring.
- To assist sites with closing out actions and observations from audits
- Manage temporary and/or permanent demarcations where required within the business, long term and/or short-term tenants.
- To drive technical standards, assist with site audits and technical support and maintain the appropriate levels of competence.

**Key Skills & Experience**

You will need experience as an Electrical Engineer/Technician within a commercial/industrial environment and an Electrical qualification.

- A full clean driving licence
