As the Programme moves into the important phase of delivering the structural changes within Central services directorates, we are expanding our team to build our organisational design capability, with specific involvement in the development and implementation of Target Operating Models. This role will work alongside a New Organisational Design Manager to support the planning and transition of staff to new structures as part of the CS25 programme.

As a **People Transition Lead - (Inside IR35)**, your main responsibilities will be:

- Project managing the implementation of people transition plans: tracking plans against milestones and identifying any issues and risks; and adjusting the plan as circumstances dictate and ensuring coordination with broader programme plans and business change activities
- Working closely with the People Directorate in the job description and job evaluation of roles which form the new structure.
- At the appropriate point, supporting senior managers in the business areas to map existing roles to roles in the proposed TOM; and supporting business areas and staff in undertaking recruitment and selection processes.
- Working with identified communications and engagement analysts and business areas to ensure that staff are provided with regular communication at all points during the transition process.
- Leading on formal documentation and supporting informal and formal engagements with the Trade Union
- Preparing managers of impacted staff to complete people transition activities.

**Essential**:

- SC Clearance
- Experience of delivering a people transition plan.
- An ability to manage a workstream within a project structure. While formal project management skills are not required, an organised and methodical approach to work is essential.
- A strong attention to detail is essential.
- A collaborative and inclusive approach, and strong stakeholder management skills, are critical given the importance of working with, and supporting, business areas.
- An ability to be flexible and adapt to changing circumstances is important.
- Discretion in handling staff sensitive data
