**Material Handler - Rotary Power**

We are looking for a Material Handler to join our manufacturing team to support with the handling and moving of equipment, materials and finished goods within our factory and stores area. You will also ensure the maintenance of stock, as well as the receipt, storage, issue and distribution and the smooth flow of materials and finished goods throughout the operation.

This role can also involve supporting packing of equipment both onsite and offsite together with subsequent manual handling operations.

**What you’ll be doing**
- Locate completed parts into stores locations and carryout relevant transaction in the business system
- Issue both B.O.C. and Raw Material to production in line with Quality Assurance requirements, production needs and SOPS
- Perform daily activities including emptying machine swarf skips and waste bins
- Keep the workplace and grounds clean and tidy
- Paint finished product using onsite painting facilities
- Paint chemical inventory management
- Paint mixing to specifications defined by the supplier
- Control of substances hazardous to health. (COSHH)
- Form part of the spill control team
- Pack parts for outside processing
- Finished goods packaging
- Finish product despatch paperwork and labelling processes
- Loading of scheduled trailer collections and courier transport
- Carry out cycle and periodic stock takes ensuring that a high level of stock accuracy is maintained and credible data is available to the business
- Management of oils and wastes across the site and management of contaminated waste storage in the bunded dedicated areas
- General assembly/packing responsibilities
- Distributing materials throughout the site
- Use of Fork Lift Truck
- Driving the company van when required

**Who we are looking for**

To apply, we are looking for someone who has an NVQ Level 2 in Warehousing/Storage or has relevant experience in a similar role working in a busy manufacturing environment. You must also have the following - Counterbalance Fork lift Truck licence, Narrow Aisle Fork Lift Licence, Overhead Crane / Slinging and Lifting as well as a full UK driving licence.

We are looking for someone who can demonstrate effective levels of communication, is proficient in the use of Microsoft Word and Excel as well as someone who has a flexible approach to work.

This position will be on a full time, permanent basis.

Working hours are 37 per week
