**Responsibilities:**:Designing and Building the Swish Network is the next main focus of the business as we aim to meet our ambitious Fibre roll out plan, and it is time to recruit a Senior Fibre Design Surveyor to support the next stage of our growth. The Senior Fibre Design Surveyor will play a vital role in ensuring we deliver accurate and efficient designs to our build teams and effectively managing changes required as we go through the plan and build lifecycle. The Senior Fibre Design Surveyor will work closely with all departments across the business to ensure that data accuracy and integrity so that we build a best in class network and customer experience. The role will require a mixture of being the lead surveyor for the network, leading the current survey team by example, assist in setting up processes in order to ensure the Design Team can produce planned works with Quality, Safety and Efficiency in mind. They will also capture the necessary information to ensure we meet the PIA regulations and that our own assets abide by these regulations. Sharing best practice and team-work is essential.
- Assisting with organising and structuring the survey team and the long term goals required of the team
- Leading by example with activities and taking ownership of the outputs from surveyors undertaking the activities
- Assist the Design Manager in managing stakeholders for survey requests and setting ECD’s for work
- Experience of working in/around the Openreach network and a strong knowledge of PIA
- Able to develop and innovate on ways of working for the future scope of the survey team
- Demonstrates an analytical skillset to understand the full impact of changes on the design and associated outputs
- Experience of FTTP networks & Survey processes and understanding of different FTTP Network Architecture and understanding of Desk based Design Software & Field based Design Software
- Openreach FTTP Accreditations, SA001A, SA002, S005,S006, N23/M23 preferred but not mandatory, NRSWA Unit 2
- Demonstrable experience of managing change to network designs and how to accurately record and communicate the impact of that change

**Requirements**:

- Experience of working in/around the Openreach network and a strong knowledge of PIA
- Believes in Sharing Best Practice and Continuous Improvement
- Demonstrates an analytical skillset to understand the full impact of changes on the design and associated outputs
- Experience of FTTP networks & Survey processes and understanding of different FTTP Network Architecture and understanding of Desk based Design Software & Field based Design Software
- Openreach FTTP Accreditations, SA001A, SA002, S005,S006, N23/M23 preferred but not mandatory, NRSWA Unit 2
- Knowledge and experience using QGIS or other similar GIS platforms to survey fibre networks (e.g. Qfield / ArcGis)
- Demonstratable experience of managing change to network designs and how to accurately record and communicate the impact of that change
- Full Driving Licence that permits you to drive a vehicle in the UK
