Childcare Apprenticeship

Formal Level 2 or Level 3 Apprenticeship programme in Childcare with on the job training.

As someone passionate and enthusiastic about beginning (or progressing) their career in childcare, you will work alongside qualified Childcare Practitioners, supporting the care and development of children aged 0 to 5.

You should be eager to learn and (with experience) gain more responsibility throughout this apprenticeship; aiming to progress through to becoming a qualified Nursery Practitioner (and potentially through to Room Leader and beyond in the future).

A good work ethic is required and the ability to communicate effectively with the people around you, including children, parents and other staff.

**Your Responsibilities and Duties will see you assisting with**:
Providing a safe environment for children. Children's learning and development. Daily, weekly and monthly checks around the nursery. Meal preparation. Developing and maintaining good relationships with local schools and the community. Taking children on trips. Supporting children’s behaviour and acting as a role model. Ensuring the environment is stimulating and appropriate, including equal opportunities.
