**Fire Surveyor**:
**Starting salary £36,000+ (T**

The role of the Fire Surveyor is to conduct various types of surveys and assessments for RIBA Stage 5 projects, cladding remedial work projects, EWS1 appointments and condition surveys for residential and commercial buildings. The Surveyor will provide authoritative advice on the day of the assessment and provide robust survey reports.

**7 Stage Role Brief**:
**Technical Guidance**:

- A knowledge of the regulatory process is essential and how that surveyor fits into the Golden Thread. You will be responsible for keeping up to date with latest guidance, product literature and sharing that knowledge with the team and wider company-
**Identify & recommend CPD opportunities to benefit the company** - It is expected that a fire surveyor is focused on their personal career development as well as their team’s development-
**Team Working** - You will liaise with the project manager/project engineer for any particular project where necessary to deliver surveys in line with contractual requirements- ** Client-Focused**:

- Client relationship management is crucial. You will be an effective communicator verbally, written and face to face**Project Management -** The Fire Surveyor will have a strong skill set in digital working and quality management surrounding processes and deliverables.- ** Buildability**:

- The Fire Surveyor will have an understanding of building pathology, building concepts, construction typology and building materials**Training & Mentoring**:

- It is expected that the fire surveyor will be willing to share their knowledge with Junior surveyors as well as fire engineers across the business**Requirements**:

- Ability to communicate and present all levels of the organization
- Working knowledge of IT/Business infrastructure and MS Office
- Outstanding organizational abilities
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Aptitude in problem-solving
- Exemplary project management
