Despatch Operative

At Dale Farm, we believe our success is built on our people, and so as we continue on our ambitious transformation journey, we are looking to recruit the following position based at Dromona Creamery in Cullybackey:
**Despatch Operative**

As a Despatch Operative, you will be a central part of the team, ensuring that we continue to deliver best in class service to our customers in terms of product accuracy and delivery.

This role involves all part of the despatch process, and key responsibilities will include:

- Accurate order picking and delivery of ingredients and/ or packaging orders according to production requirements.
- Unloading of deliveries on-site, and associated paperwork.
- Ensure efficient product handling, date rotation and temperature control.
- Control and reconciliation of stock.
- Maintain stores management system to ensure accurate recording of data.
- Comply with Group Health and Safety procedures
- Any other duties as required by management, including use of powered pallet trucks and/or counter balance trucks, if licensed.

**Essential Criteria**:

- Valid FLT License with recent and frequent experience.
- Previous relevant experience in a despatch or warehouse environment.
- Proven ability to provide high level of customer service.

- Accepts responsibility to do job well without supervision.
- Willing to work flexible hours including weekends, nightshifts, early starts and late finishes as required.
- Achieves high standards on quality, hygiene, protective clothing and paperwork.
- Works well with colleagues within a team and is flexible and co-operative.
- Keeps working area clean and tidy.
- Maintains high standards of health & safety and housekeeping.

This position is on a full-time, permanent basis. The role involves 12 hour shifts on a 4 on 4 off basis, working from 6am - 6pm.
