**Salary**: Part-time tutor rates of pay - these are under review

£18.76 - £24.91 per hour - Non-vocational Courses

£22.28 - £28.26 per hour - Vocational Courses

**Role Overview**:
To deliver high quality teaching learning and assessment that complies with the quality standards of the service. Course delivery will include a range of accredited and non-accredited Skills for Work and ESOL Skills for Life vocational and non-vocational courses. Course levels are pre-entry to Level 2.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- To prepare schemes of work, lesson plans and relevant resources for accredited and non-accredited course/s.
- To complete all appropriate administrative tasks, including completion of registers, learner agreement forms, risk assessments and records for the teaching and learning file in line with Recognising and Recording Progress and Achievement (RARPA).
- To assess and mark learners’ work as appropriate to the standards of the qualification.
- Provide individual / group ongoing assessment to support learning in order to ensure achievement and progression.
- To ensure that individual learner needs are met and progress is monitored and recorded and is reflected in lesson planning.

**Key Requirements**:
To succeed in this role, you will need as a minimum:

- Relevant teaching qualification or willingness to achieve minimum qualification within 12 months
- Excellent organisational skills to deliver teaching and learning online and face to face within the Post 19 sector; with practitioner experience in the curriculum area relevant to the post.
