Part Time - 21 hours per week.

Initially at Upminster office then Hybrid working with 1 days office based once training has been completed.

At Positive Signs, British Sign Language is our business. We are a Deaf-led company providing a customised range of services within a customer-driven environment.
Since 2004, we have been an established provider of communication services, supplying language service professionals such as BSL/English Interpreters and Communication Support Workers.
We manage and provide ongoing delivery of BSL support, utilising Disabled Students Allowance and Access to Work.
We provide accredited British Sign Language courses, approved by the awarding body Signature, plus our own robust package of Deaf Aware Training and British Sign Language course on-site / online.
**Description**:
**Purpose**:
We are seeking a highly motivated and organised Access to Work Support Worker with a strong administration background to join our Employment Team.
You will also be responsible for compiling weekly reports for the Director, Employment and Finance team.
**Quality**:
- Represent Positive Signs in a professional manner at all times.
- Attend relevant training events and Positive Signs Employment meetings as required.
**Person Specification**:
**Essential Skills and Knowledge**:
Previous experience of working within a confidential and/or secure environment.
BSL skills desired but not essential
Strong understanding of the Access to Work scheme and its eligibility criteria, as well as their procedures.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with a diverse range of clients as well as maintaining good relationships with ATW staff
Exceptional organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently and prioritise effectively.
Proficient in Microsoft office and Teams and Sharepoint systems and comfortable obtaining information from invoicing software
Confidence in conducting telephone conversations, clearly explaining complex information to ATW staff and obtain clear guidance.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to compile and interpret data for reports.
**Communication Skills**:
- A good level of written and spoken English.
- Preferably a good level of British Sign Language.
**Personal Qualities**:
- Reliable, punctual and flexible.
- Sensitivity and understanding.
- Patience and the ability to remain calm in stressful situations.
- Team Player. Positive and great Interpersonal skills.
- Able to manage, prioritise and organise own workload as required.
- Experience of working with Deaf People in Employment settings.
**Information and Knowledge - Information Processing**:
- Able to work to tight deadlines and remain customer focused.
**Salary**
Payment will be from £ 23,000 per annum pro rota
