POST Recruitment are recruiting for an SEO Lead to join our client, one of the UK's leading niche retailers. The business is growing rapidly both online and off-line with numerous branch openings planned this year and onwards. As SEO Lead you take charge of developing and maintaining our online presence. You will play a pivotal role in driving our online visibility and growth through effective Search Engine Optimisation strategies. Your expertise will be instrumental in ensuring our company websites are optimized for search engines, resulting in enhanced organic traffic, improved search rankings, and increased online revenue. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, contribute to the development of our eCommerce strategy, and lead initiatives to strengthen our online presence. The role demands a strong grasp of technical SEO, exceptional analytical skills, and a proven track record in executing successful SEO campaigns.

Your Responsibilities:

- Conduct comprehensive technical site audits, thorough keyword research, and in-depth backlink analysis.
- Collaborate with the website development team to create compelling content and optimize the website for SEO performance.
- Monitor search terms, rankings, and analytics continuously to assess the effectiveness of client websites and provide actionable recommendations for enhancement.
- Analyse data and campaigns, translating insights into actionable strategies to improve SEO performance.
- Independently manage internal expectations by keeping the team informed about ongoing work and staying updated on the latest market trends.
- Contribute to conversion optimization efforts across campaigns.
- Play a significant role in the execution of our eCommerce strategy and key objectives.
- Ensure all company websites are fully optimized for search engines, encompassing various aspects of SEO.
- Maximize Google Search Console Indexing & Experience performance, focusing on elements like page experience, core web vitals, and mobile usability.
- Implement SEO enhancements such as schema markup, structured data, and rich snippets effectively.
- Develop high-quality, engaging content that captivates, educates, inspires, and drives sales.
- Create and execute a robust strategy to enhance domain authority across all company websites.
- Utilize available data to evaluate performance, inform research, and adjust content strategies as necessary.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest SEO best practices, ensuring the implementation of only strong initiatives.
- Develop and maintain a local search strategy to enhance regional visibility.

**What we need from you-**:

- Proven experience in SEO, including demonstrated success with SEO campaigns for clients.
- Proficiency in GoogleAnalytics and data analysis/reporting skills.
- Strong understanding of both Offsite and Onsite Optimization factors.
- Familiarity with tools like BrightEdge, SEMrush, Moz, Ahrefs, and GoogleAnalytics.
- Expertise in Google algorithms and updates, including a deep understanding of on-page SEO, natural backlink profiles, and on-page optimization.
- Comprehensive knowledge of technical search optimization, including link building, backlink analysis, keyword research, content development, and optimization.
- Solid experience in reporting, analysis, and interpretation of data.
- Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and effective communication (both written and verbal).
