Your New Role
A large public sector organisation offering excellent development opportunity currently seeking a HR Business Partner to join their dynamic HR team, in a busy HR department.
Within your new role, you will be expected to provide expert knowledge, skills and interventions to support designated divisions across all aspects of workforce performance, development, change programmes, recruitment and selection and employee relations throughthe provision of professional strategic and operational advice, guidance, mentoring and coaching.
You will actively participate in the development and implementation of Human Resources Strategy whilst also providing operational HR support to designated departments.
Some of your main responsibilities within your new role;
- Lead the provision of effective advice, information and guidance when dealing with highly complex employee relations cases ensuring business risk is minimised.
- Working positively and proactively with recognised Trade Unions and staff side representatives when dealing with highly complex employee relations issues.
- Coach and influence managers to develop their people management/leadership skills.
- Ensure that HR Service Standards are continually improved through effective audit/review and enhancement of business relationships, customer service, policies, systems, procedures and the development of team members.
- Design and deliver training or other OD interventions to improve leadership, team performance and levels of employee engagement.
- Contribute to the review, development and update of relevant HR policies, ensuring consultation and implementation mechanisms are followed.
- Attend internal hearings and Employment Tribunals as required
- Work as part of the HR Senior team to develop, implement and monitor all aspects of the workforce Strategy for the organisation.
- Develop highly effective business relationships maintaining a real understanding of operational and business challenges.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of operational and strategic decisions to achieve objectives contained within the organisations vision and strategy.
- Develop division recruitment, retention and resource plans alongside senior management
- Lead programme of continuous improvement activity
- Lead and implement strategic/other HR projects across the business
