**Overview**:
The key function is to drive Stony Dean School vehicles in a responsible and competent manner and supervise pupils to and from school. Pupils will be collected from their homes, welcomed onto the bus and transported safely to the School and home again each day.

The school has a comprehensive policy statement on Health & Safety. As a Minibus Driver you will take all reasonable care for the Health & Safety of yourself, your colleagues and all other people who could be affected by your acts or omissions at work. You will be expected to co-operate with the school’s Health & Safety Officer to enable them to fulfil their obligations.

**Salary details**:Bucks Pay Range 2 £20.258 pro-rata for 15 hours per week, 39 weeks per annum plus 5 weeks holiday pay. Actual salary £6,965

**About the role**:
Collect pupils, welcoming them onto the bus and transporting them safely to the School and home again each day.
Keep the pupils safe and ensure that the minibus has undergone the necessary safety checks and is safe to drive each day.

There is also the possibility of extra flexible working hours on a claims basis based on the requirements of the Schools' trips and visits calendar.

**About you**:
Hold a current, clean and valid driving licence - D1 unrestricted or a PCV licence or D1 restricted (car licence obtained prior to 01/01/1997)

Age 21+ (for insurance purposes).

Geographical knowledge of the local area.

Competent to undertake vehicle checks and carry out basic maintenance.
