We are part of CVS (UK) Ltd, the largest provider of integrated veterinary services in the UK; the referrals division currently operates eight referral hospitals in the UK and Ireland.

This role incorporates inpatient and ECC within our ICU. You would be involved in the care and management of a variety of cases, working alongside our specialist team.

The rota pattern follows a 4 week rotation with a mixture of earlies, lates and nights.

- WEEK 4: 7 Days off (Recovery week)

The role averages at 40hr/week with 5 weeks holiday, salary £30-35k experience dependant.

You will have plenty of support around with another RVN within the general wards, one of our rotating interns on site as well as multiple specialists and further RVN's on-call should they be needed.

**Duties include but not limited to;**
- Ensuring a high standard of nursing care and appropriate attention of the inpatients and emergency patients admitted out of hours.
- Canine and feline ICU wards based role.
- Administering treatments and medications as directed by our specialist clinicians.
- Involvement in CPR (Recover Initiative Online Training Encouraged and funded if not already held)
- Comprehensively communicating with all disciplines to ensure patient treatment plans are in place and correct.

We are deeply committed to supporting the well-being of our staff. Our wellness program includes an Employee Assistance Programme with Health Assured, an optional health shield cash plan, Mental Health First Aiders, and Wellbeing Champions within the practice.

Furthermore, we support further career progression with a generous CPD (Continuing Professional Development) allowance and associated time off. CVS provides a wide range of internal CPD courses, not exclusively focused on clinical work, allowing those interested in diversifying their skill set to benefit. Additionally, there are opportunities for clinical research and teaching.

Being based within an ICU, this role would benefit from an RVN with prior ECC and/or referral experience. Confidence to manage the intensive cases we see through our door is essential.
