Technical Sales Engineer required in Farnborough 35-40k pa, free parking and an early finish on a Friday

Reporting to the Global Operations Manager, the Technical Sales Engineer, will work as part of a strong team and be responsible for direct sales/support of the Company’s portfolio of products.

**As the Technical Sales Engineer you will benefit from**:

- Salary of 35-40k depending on experience
- 25 days annual leave (plus 8 bank holidays)
- 8:30am-5pm Monday - Thursday and 2:30pm on Friday

- Private Medical (Optional to join after 1 year of service)

**As the Technical Sales Engineer you will be responsible for**:

- To establish and maintain contact with potential and existing customers at all levels within their organisations.
- To develop good personal relationships with these key contacts in order that our products can be selected and specified at the earliest opportunity.
- To follow up all enquiries for the companies products and services, converting them into contracts/orders in a professional manner.
- To evaluate competitive situations and recommend appropriate tactics.
- To know the competition and their business activities, strengths and weaknesses.
- Must be willing and able to travel within and outside UK, so a full driving license is required.
- Experience working in electronics/instrumentation or mechanical engineering.
- Ideally from a field service background.
- Understanding of quality, cost and efficiency.
- Excellent customer service experience with creative problem solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills: accurate, clear and concise.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to multi-task.
- Recognised engineering qualifications.
