Head of Volumetric

**THE ROLE**

The main purpose of the Head of Volumetric role is to manage strategy development, sales and performance for the Volumetric and Showbolt products at Mark Roberts Motion Control.

This role works closely with Nikon Imaging Solution Teams to drive development and sales.

This is an 11-to-12-month fixed term contract to cover a period of Maternity Leave.

**MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS**
- Strategic development in the latest technology trends providing insight and commercial opportunities across the latest content creation technology
- Understanding and translating quarterly trends and insights to effectively report and recommend action for the business
- Manage part of our exciting portfolio of products including Polymotion Stage (Volumetric) and Showbolt (high speed robotics)
- Alongside managing products, you will be expected to manage partners and clients to introduce the products and create sales opportunities
- Includes the ability to research new markets for opportunities whilst developing the long-term strategy for products and future business recommendations

**SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED**

**Experience**:

- Degree level qualification in Business, Business Development, Sales or other relevant field
- High level proficiency in Microsoft Office

**Professional Skills**:

- Strategy experience with ability to present to Senior Level Management
- Strong commercial negotiation skills
- Client and Partner Manager experience at Senior levels
- Sales experience in a technical product environment
- Financial acumen for the ability to track sales, revenue, invoices and forecast

**Advantageous**:

- Technical background from industries such as broadcast and event management
- Experience in future tech trends
- Digital implementation and/ or Creative understanding

**Personal Skills**:

- Ability to communicate and present across all levels of the organisation
- Financial acumen
- Excellent sales ability

We are a robotics company doing some serious hardware and software engineering. By robots we mean 6+ axis robotic arms, large multi axis rigs and 2-3 Axis camera platforms. Our products are used globally in Broadcast studios, Stadiums, Movie Sets and Photography studios to capture motion and stills.
