Are you an Accounts Senior looking for a new challenge and the opportunity to work within a leading firm of chartered accountants in West Malling?

TPF Recruitment is working with a fantastic chartered accountancy practice based in West Malling to recruit an Accounts Senior to join their talented team. As an Accounts Senior, you will play a pivotal role in preparing limited company, partnership and sole trader accounts, Corporation tax computations and returns, Vat and management accounts, personal and self-assessment returns. Youll work with a variety of software including IRIS, Xero, Sage, QB, DEXT, Auto-entry, and other programs as needed.

**You will be responsible for**:

- Managing your own portfolio of clients
- Preparation of financial statements
- Preparation of Corporation Tax Returns
- Preparation of Personal Tax Returns
- Preparation of bookkeeping and VAT returns
- Assisting junior staff members with their work where required
- Dealing with client queries and advisory projects
- Assisting Partners as necessary, with existing and new client queries

Requirements*
- Suitable applicants for this Senior Accountant role will be any of AAT, ACA, ACCA qualified or qualified by experience, with a career background in accountancy practice, working within a small or medium firm background and/or, Top 50/ Mid or Top Tier firm experience.
- You will be likely operating around Accounts Senior level, or similar, delivering accounts and wider ranging accountancy practice services to a client base of sole traders, partnerships and limited company clients, across a wide spectrum of industries and turnover levels. You will be looking for a career opportunity where you can progress.

For this fantastic Accounts Assistant opportunity in Maidstone, you will have 1 - 3 years or more experience within practice, preparing accounts, tax and other responsibilities for a mixed client base of sole traders, partnerships and limited companies. You will be looking for a challenging, long term career move, at Accounts Assistant level, within a growing and expanding firm of chartered accountants, offering progression and career development.
