Food Runner’s primary responsibility is to assist Bartenders and Waitstaff, and help busy waitpersons deliver orders to customers on time (that means literally running food orders from the kitchen to the customer’s table). Although it may seem simple, it’s an important job that ensures our restaurant’s efficient and smooth operation.

**_The Role_**
- Working as a team player on a daily basis, taking direction from the Manager and Supervisor
- Delivering food orders from the kitchen to customers’ tables rapidly and accurately
- Acting as the point of contact between Front of the House and Back of the House staff
- Communicating food orders to chefs, paying attention to priorities (e.g. food allergies)
- Setting up the front line with the small wares, plate ware and equipment needed to effectively serve all food items
- Keeping the station restocked, cleaning small, large trays and tray stands, reading order tickets and placing them onto the ticket minder
- Completing closing duties correctly at the end of each shift and assisting the Chef and other kitchen employees in keeping the kitchen clean and with closing duties
- Work in accordance with our Standard Operating Procedures and within the parameters of your training and the guidelines you are given
- Welcome customers in a friendly, upbeat manner
- Maintain shop front incl. stocking of fridges
- Work in an orderly and tidy manner at all times
- Following our stock rotation guidelines.
- Work safely with all equipment on site, and make sure the instructions are followed
- Maintain the highest of cleanliness standards for the premises and your own personal hygiene too.

**_Qualifications and Requirements of the position_**
- English as a first or second language (spoken, written and reading)
- Well groomed and presentable
- Discretion and Loyalty
- The ability to multi task
- Excellent timekeeping
- Flexible working hours (incl. working on bank holidays)
- Necessary working permits
